pdx_01' is a captivating work of equal parts sight and sound scape. NomIg. fuses technical and aesthetic approaches into the subjectivity of audiovisual perception. It is a journey along the thin rails that divide realism from abstraction and on into the nether regions of holistic experience that refuse delineations between the two. What we perceive as being empty and void is in fact what fills the perceptual environments, engaging the audience in a sensory pas de deux. Through explorations of the natural and the imagined, 'pdx_01' draws the spectator into a world of low-rumbling, wavering frequencies and obscure, ghostly light shapes that dance across our tympanal and retinal membranes.

In the video PENDULE, an animal conduct is trapped: as if in shifts, birds relay one another on top of a sculpture. The viewer does not know why.
The artist makes simultaneously coincide the background image (a great Luna Park wheel ) with the birds’ relay.
Birds are like pointers of a clock showing time, though, in an eccentric way. It is an image seemingly belonging to a time in itself or leading us to this idea of science about the reversibility of time.
